Hello, Ive got hold of a 12" Sub that I want to use in a boot build. I have a couple of questions about how to go about it:

I have a Panasonic double DIN head unit and a standard set of speakers. I have the small silver amp under the passenger seat so I imagine that Ive got 6 speakers and no sub currently. I had a dig around in the boot and couldnt find anything resembling a sub anyway.

What would be the easiest and cheapest ;) way of getting the setup to work? I dont mind building a box to hold the sub but I have no idea how I should go about wiring it into the rest of the system. Should I be connecting it to the sub or straight to the head unit. I would also be looking at replacing the lame stock speakers soon, would it be worth disconnecting the rears and just using a sub and the front speakers?

Thanks for any help! :)

Leave the rears in otherwise it will just be deep notes (bass) all the time. Best way to build a box yourself as they do sound very nice in the supra as no parcel shelf or sealed boots:) . look to see if your head unit has a sub out (rca dedicated to low bass output). it will be easier to adjust the bass then :)
