Just been out in the car and was giving it some and thought it was pulling well when I looked at the boost gauge and it was reading1.6!!!..Only had a restrictor ring fitted a little while ago and it was at a stable 1.2..any ideas why it has suddenly shot up...

Cold damp air ;)

I had mine set so it runs about 1.1 tops normally. Even on the coldest dampest day it only went up to 1.25 once. That way I know its always safe and I'll boost it up a bit on the warmer days with the SBC-ID when I get it!

Surely it wouldn't rise like that..its warmer today than when it was set up.

Nah, the worst I ever got without the restrictor ring in was 1.5bar on a cold day giving it large from 2nd to 6th gear. Might be a toob come off somewhere, how are you with the pressure hose system of the sequential setup? :D

Use your right foot to control the boost and you'll be OK :)
