Chris and Alana
Is it a legal requirement to have side repeaters? I really fancy taking the wings off and cutting the trd style vents in and if I can I would love to get rid of the side indicators. If not I will just cut them out below. There are a few pics floating about with this done and some have side repeaters and some dont.

tony tt
If it is you could get the side mirrors with the repeaters built in to get them off the wings?
P 17EED
You dont have to have them as long as you have wrap around front indicators which unfortunatly supras dont.
Chris and Alana
if it is, does it matter where they go? For example, fitting something into the side of the front bumper to get them of the wing?

Cool, so I could relocate something into the side of the front bumper and I would obviously also have to keep the original front indicators. Does size matter? Rob Dublin
Thought about this myself, considered a Porker 996 type solution, except clear lensed :

Scott
Feck, thats another thing to fix before the MOT Is the facelift solution MOT worthy? I.e no wing repeaters, just the slanted facelift front indicators? Still not enough mate. At least 1 indicator must be visible every 120 degrees. You won't see any from the side of the car, even with the facelift sidelights.

Scott
How do the facelifts get through the MOT? Is it simply overlooked by the garages? No facelifts have the side repeaters in the front bumper. They are triangle shaped rather than the little square ones though. Edit: Crap pic but you get the idea..
jevansio
Facelifts should be OK, if not then the Porka would fail and that def gets through an MOT without any payoffs
