carl0s
Has anybody done a nice job of having their OEM 17" rims re-finished so that they look cool or modern? Although I don't drive the Supra much at all, the times when I do drive it I'm not exactly chuffed with it. The steering is a little too heavy and it feels a bit like I'm fighting with it. Am wondering if re-finished OEM rims could look great as well as sorting out the handling/feel ? The car currently has 18" Volk GT-AV rims. Ian W
Down-size is the right idea, mate. What about some 17" Volks instead? Geo has some on his and they actually look really good

A thread full of people's different ideas would be nice.

little num
i did my own set, but had the lip taken off at a place with a lathe (not spelt right) makes the wheels look bigger and stops them fron getting scrathed in the future.
carl0s
Although I don't drive the Supra much at all, the times when I do drive it I'm not exactly chuffed with it. The steering is a little too heavy and it feels a bit like I'm fighting with it. I think I take that back now. After replacing all four drop-links, replacing the dampeners with bilsteins and straightening the steering wheel, it's quite nice to drive again. I think the off-centre steering wheel makes you feel like you're in a wrong/broken car. The suspension changes have sorted out the harshness.
