Indicator problem.. Searched but still not sure!?

I would say bulbs, its the loading of the bulbs which affects the relay, (if a bulb fails it flashes faster etc..) I'd change the bulbs one at a time. The side indicator has no effect on the loading effect. If all of them were flashing too fast id say relay.

Does it flash fast when you put the hazzards on?

I had a loose indicator. Go over a bump... indicate and get a fast flash. 2 minutes later go down the road and indicate again and all was fine! Realised when I had the fast flash and put the hazards on and looked around the car and noticed one wasn't working. Hazards still flash at the normal speed with a bulb gone.

Check your front/side bulbs are in tight and all wiring to them is sound :)

No it doesn't flash fast with hazards, only when putting right indicator on.... all bulbs work ok at the min so you think it could be about to blow is that what you mean?

No I mean even with a broken bulb the hazards make the lights/relay go at a normal pace.

I had a loose connection, so would only see the fast flash you're getting occasionally... and then it would go away.

So all bulbs work and it's still flashing fast? I'd go with the others and say the relay has an issue.

I've got the exact same problem.

My little lad loves playing in the car and when he came out I thought nothing about it.

Noticed when turning right the indicator on the dash flashed much quicker than normal. Now I've always thought that a blown bulb affected the load and therefore charging time of a CR circut - which then drives the relay. Seems I am wrong. It just seemed like a basic electronic thing.

I have also checked all the bulbs. And they are all OK although the FRHS doesnt flash, but the rest do (quickly).

Off on holiday tonight so will investigate a bit more when i get back. Little fellers probably kicked hell out of the fusebox and relay.

I had this also on my right indicator, all my indicators are LED so not a blown bulb, and I found the problem to be a poor ground in the circuit. It happened after my car came back from the TT conversion and therefore I knew I was one of the fronts as they had taken the bumper off. I just gave it a wiggle and resecuring and its all fixed.

I would 99% say it has to be a poor earth/ground.
