Guest philo Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 I am thinking of fitting standard Supra Seats to my Toyota Soarer. I own a Toyota Soarer and am entering it in the PPC £999 challenge. This is an event where you buy a car for £999 or less, tune it and then compete in a series of trials. I have been working on my car to repair the faults and increase the performance a bit. But an area where the soarer suffers is weight. The electric seats in my car weigh a hefty 35-40 kg each! In addition they are designed to be comfortable rather than supportive. So they are first on my list to go. It has been suggested to me that my soarer has the same seat mounting holes as a mkiV Supra. So I am very keen to see if can get my hands on some standard Supra seats for the event. Firstly does anyone here know roughly how much standard Supra seats weigh? Secondly does anyone here have a set of standard seats they may have for sale? I am on a tight budget but I am not fussy about condition.
