Back on the road with new additions (pics)

Supra is back on the road after 6 months of it sitting in the garage whilst I was working away. It flew through its MOT last week.

I've binned the old overused JSpec brakes that were on it and plumped for a set of D2's all round. I'm over the moon with them, they're like night and day compared to the JSpecs.

Here's some pics:

Is that 6 pots front and rear? Or is it 8's on the front?

8's on the front and 6's on the rear although to be honest I doubt it makes a real difference.

Thanks for the comments guy, it's certainly getting there. It's moved on a fair bit from the pink accident damaged pile of :taped: that it was when I got it 2 1/2 years ago. There's still a lot I'd like to do to it but I'm skint and I want to actually drive it for a bit :D

Should also add that I've fitted a new intercooler whilst it was off the road and added some soundproofing.

Now thats what you call stopping power lol. If you had 6's all round it would upset the brake balance, thats why i asked :)

Car looks stunning mate, always admired the paint job. Is it holding up well?

How much were the brakes?

Cheers, paint job is not too bad although because it's been sitting in a dusty damp garage for 6 months it could do with a bit of TLC. I just haven't had the time yet.

There's a couple of very small issues but to be honest I did expect that considering the absolute state the bodywork was in when I got it. Also wish I'd gone for a gunmetal colour black is so hard to keep clean and every little knick shows up.

Car looks lovely, the only change I'd make to it would to put a 3/4 size rectangular plate on the front and it would be perfect..!

I know what you mean but I did have one that size on my MR2 and it cost me a £40 fine and a producer :(

Think I might go for a uk size plate or the size that's the same width as the one you posted but double the height.

Very nice Johnny, like every little detail on that  Very tastefully done

May I be impolite and suggest some facelift lights? Either that or painting the backs of the current front ones black? Also the front number plate size doesn't really suit, the "normal" sized one with the stock holder would look better IMO.
