Picked up DAT - inters car this afternoon from Manchester area and drove back down to London.

My previous Supra experience is a stock TT auto, so jumping in a BPU 6sp would be interesting.

F!*K me!!!!, I had noooooo idea what was in store. The power delivery is savage and unrelenting. God knows how fast you boys running big singles must be, but I could not believe how quick it is. I've been home now for over an hour and my heart beat is still in triple figures. My buddy sitting next too me fell asleep halfway through the journey, but I kept waking him up with my manic laughter everytime I pressed the loud pedal. :D

Fraser told me the car has some sort of uprated clutch which I'm struggling with TBH. It judders like a bitch on pullaway, so much so I get loud embarrasing drive train chatter at every junction and traffic light. I think I'll be putting a stock clutch back in at some point in the near future.

I've also got to get my head around the AEM boost control dial thingy. I've worked out there are 2 programs on it, A and B, or off. But I've no idea how to fettle and change stuff. On A, it's supposed to be 1.2 bar and program B is 0.9. I caught it peaking at 1.27 on program A so I've put it on B which keeps it in the safe zone, at least until I work out how to change program A so that it boosts a bit less. I also don't get the random flashing lights around the edge of the dial, it doesn't seem to correspond to anything.

I'll be spending most of tomorrow cleaning her, I'll get some pics up when done.
