Guest bennyessex
I have just parted with my hard earned for a jap import 94 N/A Manual. Took it out last night got to 112mph and bang was like hitting a brick wall. Obviously I want it to be derestricted. Im from essex and wondered if anyone has any reccomendations/experience in having this done. In the same breathe the speedo is still in KM (180) and ill need a conversion for this. One final thing, is the restriction just on the top speed or on the overall power? This car feels slower then my previous 94 auto!?
NeoFuture
umm why were you doing 112 on a public highway, you deserve to get caught and its people driving like you that give supra owners a bad name
JustGav
You need a delimiter and speed convertor. Look for a thor unit.

steady_dave
umm why were you doing 112 on a public highway, you deserve to get caught and its people driving like you that give supra owners a bad name That reaction was a bit over the top. I'm not saying that we should all go drifting around everywhere because that would be stupid, and i'm all for safe driving.......but lets be fair, we didn't buy a supra to do the sunday shopping run. People are going to drive fast in them occasionally. I'm sorry NeoFuture but I find it hard to believe that you have never broken a road law. ANYWAY I've also got a limiter on my J-Spec N/A I know Envy sold a De-limiter for around £80 but i'm not really sure what's happening with them at the moment. I'd try Sumo
Aero-M
These seem to be the ones to go for http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/Top_Speed_Delimiter-48.asp

Also does this affect the overall power or just top end?

I have know idea how to fit one, If you get the combined one, it derestricts the 112mph limit and converts the signal to clock up in miles rather than km. It has no affect on changing power.
