Fitz
Right so, I'm still searching for new wheels. Seen a few I like, but what I'm wondering is... Is it better to get larger wheels for the rear? As some places where I'm looking only offer 4 wheels of all the same size etc. I'm guessing it's a better thing to have a wider set on the rear. But would it make a real difference? I'll definitely be purchasing a set with wider rears, but the question just crossed my mind. Anyone know? (Sorry if it's a stupid question) Cliff
Ian W
I'd most certainly only be ordering a wider set of rears if I still owned a Supra.
hoff
Yes definately wider wheels on the back. Stock 17s came in 8x17 up front and 9.5x17 at the rear. Most people have 8.5 up front and 9.5 rears. This is usually the minimum people go for. Obviously the tyres will do the same. Min 235 on the front and 255 on the rear, depending on the wheel width of course:)
