Duffman
Stripping down & fitting 2nd turbo to car today. Have been told that I need to have some spare engine oil to pour into the bath of the turbo before I fit it. Is this true or can I just bolt it straight on anmd when it comes to start it just let it tick over for a while until it lubricates itself? Tricky-Ricky
Just a couple of squirts of engine oil from an oil can will be fine, if its been sitting for a long time, but in any case it will get plenty of oil as soon as the engine is running, its not going to be spinning fast on idle anyway, if at all.
