Carlos T Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 Done a load of searching on here but just want to check to see what width tyre i could get away with, the wheels are 18" and the offset will be 35. Will i be able to put 8.5"wheels with 235/40 tyre on the front and 9.5" wheel with 265/35 tyre on the rear with out them sticking out or rubbing. Stonkin Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 Sounds fine to me mate, i used to run 18's with 9" FRONT 10" REAR GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 245/40/18 and 285/35/18 The rears needed the arches rolling, but depends what suspension you are running. I was on the jap yellow Bilsteins and standard springs to go with them. Pics are in my garage of old car to show you how they looked. Had a good look but couldn't find some thing specific. cheers guys;) They are the same tyre as what I have check my car pics out, I have since lowered it 32mm front 22mm rear it rubs slightly with 2 people in but with just me its fine.
