Guigsy
well you can clean the sides with some Autosol, but i would leave the rest. even a jetwash will bend the fins. I would like to do mine though for the summer.
erol_h
Im not botherd about the fins just the bottom and the sides as the metal isnt looking to great as its been on the car for bout 10years. Should i give it a rub down with a brilo pad or not a good idea
RobSheffield
Bit of Autosol Other generic polishing pastes are widely available from local motor factors of your choice

Guigsy
I tend to work by the following principle to make things shiny, if in doubt autosol it, if that fails just spray it with a bit of wd40 to make it shiny, if that fails you probably sprayed wd40 somewhere you shouldnt have and now your engine is on fire.
