Cerikbok
Fitting a MK3 spoiler onto a MKiv. I rather like the low look of the older one and was wondering if anyone had seen this done or if it is even possible without ungodly amounts of trimming. I think it could stick out too far on the ends Edited March 18, 2009 by Cerikbok (see edit history)
Guigsy
you can do anything with fibreglass and filler. But it wont look any good. The curve and lines of the boot wont work well with it if you ask me.
Cerikbok
Yea, I sorta jumped on it too soon I think. After staring at the pics for a few minutes and trying to imagine I don't think it would look well. No worries, would be interesting to see for sure though
jevansio
IMHO if you were after that type of look, did you see the photoshop JamesC did of his with a lowered stock spoiler, if you wanted something like that I'd say that would be the way to do it. Might give that a try, worth wasting a little stock spoiler to do it, trying for something original
