Stevo
Still searching for new alloys - everytime I find something I like, they're either too expensive or don't come in the correct fitment om 18" rims (8.5" & 9.5" preferred). So... on 18" diameters, would 8" fronts and 9" rears be ok for widths? How would this affect handling? Does it depend on the offset? DAT Inter
I would say it depends on offset and used tyre widths. I have tried a set of 8" / 9" on mine and it was great.
Stevo
Would probably be looking to run 235s up front and 265s on back.
Homer
It's best to get as close to stock sizes as possible (8x17 -50 F; 9.5x17 -50 R) However, 9 inch rear witdh should be okay provided the offset is enough to compensate. It's obviously advisable to get a full geometry check done after the change to make sure everything is in order.
merckx
Would probably be looking to run 235s up front and 265s on back. You should be okay, I wouldn't use anything wider than a 265 on a 9" rim.
