Traders/breakers selling diffs

Sorry for all the recent posts, guys.

Does anyone know of any traders, breakers or anyone that may stock a differential for a 93 NA manual?

I have an LSD, and would prefer to have buy another one, but thats not 100% necessary.

Unfortunatly, Homer has informed me an auto diff will not fit a manual car, so that doesnt seem to be an option :( .

EDIT: Keron has non in stock.

Maybe we had crossed lines here, but the auto diff will fit a car with a W58 5spd trans, they are a direct swap.

The issue comes with the diff ratio, it'll lengthen the gears by some degree.

If you retain the W58 then any NA 5spd or auto diff will be okay, just so long as it doesn't come from a TT the ratio is the same.

It's only the TT 6spd diff that won't physically fit.

Oh right, interesting!

So what would legthening the gears mean? Slower acceleration I assume? Do you think it would be noticeable?

Yes, slower acceleration, but higher speed in each gear. It will be very noticable if you go from an NA diff to a TT auto one.

I think I've confused myself now.

If I can find a differential from an NA car, whether its auto or manual, it's a direct swap, and the ratios should be the same.

If it's from a TT the ratios are all screwed.

Is that correct?

Yes, I beleive thats correct.

Homer are you sure a TT auto will FIT a Na manual Prop shaft, The only reason i ask i that i always believed (and though ide tried this) that the ends of the prop were different bolt spacings on the TTs.. so you couldnt bolt them together.. (wanted to do this when i put the TT in ie TT,W58, auto diff to lenghten gears)

i mean a TT6speed prop will fit a TT auto Diff, that im sure of.. done it loads of times
