ive fitted veilside style intake and 90mm throttle body so havnt got the trac butterfly etc. Even if i remove the trac ecu altogether will i loose me manual and o/d off modes.

I had a problem with the trac control last year which left my o/d light flashing. This wouldnt let me select manual or o/d off mode til i fixed it.

IIRC you will loose manual mode as the ecu reports a coms problem to the trac ecu if you remove it.

Plug in the Trac ECU. Remove the throttle sensor from the Trac throttle and plug it back onto the loom. You will need to jam the sensor ito the open position (remove spring) - and you should be good to go ;)

If you plug your tps into the sub tps then your ECU wont get a throttle signal (and will also throw a code)

just remove the sub tps sensor from the old throttle housing, jam it so its fully open, and plug it back into loom. The trac ecu will think its still in place and working normally :)
