New clutch time

Finally! Been waiting about 7 months to get a clutch fitted, but due to cash flow (or lack there of) I've been limping around.

But tomorrow it's going to Paul Stablers in Darlington, and I might acctually be able to put the mighty NA power down (watch out Saxos, here I come).

It's going to be £380 all in, for a basic clutch. No comprehension if this is a good or bad price, but it needs doing.

Only problem is, Its going to be another month or so till I get a new diff fitted, so I can't go having too much fun.

Well, i got it back tonight.

He showed me the old clutch, it was paper thin, with heat spots all over the friction plate. But the difference is amazing. I've still got to get the diff fixed and let the clutch bed in, the car feels so different! Light and, dare I say it, powerful!

However, he pointed out (and i had suspected for a couple of days) that my driver side rear caliper is seized, so I'll get a service kit from Mr T, and back in she goes. :(
