As I Have changed the headunit recently from the previous standard toyota headunit to an Aftermarket one.

Suddenly, every time I Turn the engine on the aerial will rise. It never did before, any idea on how to stop it? Or is it a compulsory function now?

Just Wondering :)

Cheers,

Cliff

If it helps anybody i have just wired up my aerial so its totally manually operated from a 3 way toggle switch wether the ignition/headunit is on or off, totally flexible!

I only did this because my antenna relay box seems to have broken, so i just bought i 3 way 2 pole toggle switch, stuck in it one of the switch blanking plates, and wired it up using the live and neutral from the antenna relay plug, and the green and red wires which go to the aerial (red is up, green is down).

Let me know if you want more instructions if you are interested.

The pic shows the switch:
