Well it's been a bit of an eye opener working on the Supra tonight, not in a good way.

Bought jayssupra's Miami GT SMIC this week so in preperation for it's arrival I thought I'd make a start and remove the old SMIC.

So got to work tonight and removed the bumper and came across a pretty horrendous sight. Basically I didn't have a stock SMIC sitting there I had this piece of sh!te:

I've no idea what type it is (maybe a MKIII Supra?) to make matters worse it was basically held on there by the pipes and a cable tie!!! Whoever did this also made up this pikey pipe to make it fit:

I'm really annoyed I never checked out the state of the SMIC before. I only ever looked at it through the air vent in the bumper to see what condition the fins were in. I really hope my car's not been damaged by running this.

Going to have to source some stock SMIC brackets and ducting now :(

I'd really like to meet the "mechanic" that did this work, I'd find somewhere to stick his pikey pipe.
