Silenced Decat Pipe (Additional Silencing for Nur Spec)

Has anybody ever added additional silencers/mufflers to either:

- 2nd decat pipe

- Blitz Nur Spec R

I had a quick look underneath yesterday but didn't come to any earth shattering conclusions. Has anybody headed down this route with ether of these exhaust pieces?

I'd like to get the volume down to just under "baffle in" levels when the baffle is actually out. The main concern is idle volume and low speed "suburban driving" at 7am to get to the motorway, I'm not too fussed on the volume at WOT.

Cheers

Dan

Apexi do an Exhaust Control Valve to fit the Supra exhaust flange. They are available with either manual or electronic controller Give me a shout if you want prices.

You serious Branners  I would have thought that would sound rather odd

nope, quite serious. All it does is let more sounds out. The nurspec bung just stops the sound by baffling it back in to the exhaust. Let a little more of the sound out and it would get a little louder.

Has to be worth a try.

I didn't realize you were back up to speed again Nic. I need loads of stuff (lots of OEM kit) and maybe something like this Apexi valve if the price is ok. I will pm you a list.
