dyno question

ok i'm going to book my car into whifbitz at some point to fix a few problems and generally have a good look over the car. now as my 5spd box isn't up for running a single, is it possible to still have it dyno'd without destroying it? i was explaining this to my dad and he thinks it can be done as its not got any resistance/weight(car) to move when its on the dyno. is this correct or do i need to give him a dig for lying lol :D

How long have you had this NA-T going through the W58? Just curious why you think its going to pack in on a RR session when your car has been like this for x amount of years etc

the car has blown 2 w58 boxes since ive had it. first time it went i didn't know about 6 spd boxes. 2nd time it went i was told the new box was a 5spd getrag...turns out they just rebuilt the old one. now i have recently put in a low mileage w58 but drive it sensibly.....except sometimes in 5th. SLAP TIME!!! :D
