6 x 9 speakers

has anyone ever attempted to fit 6 x 9 speakers in the rear, and if so was it a nightmare or is this wishfull thinking, and will i have to stick with standard size of 6.5"

I've asked the same question as I have an old set sitting around at home. The consensus is that it is indeed a right royal pain in the arse!!! Although, I havent even tried to do anything with them I'll probably stick with stock sized ones for the moment. :)

Personally i dont think 6x9" speakers is a good idea in the rear-sides on the supra....they will definately not perform they way the are supposed to...mounted there...

Try a decent set of 6,5" coax speakers if youve got the speakerboxes....

I agree, not to mention the work involved would be very, very time consuming, for not much gain.
