edge
I use one and is good. But there are two types. Both the controllers are the same but 1 solenoid is good for upto 1.3 bar and the other 2.5 bar. Depending on what you take boost upto really. Is that true? well the solenoid went on the the blitz actually, i just remembered, but that happened while the engine was being put back in so i think it was damaged accidently and not left to its own devices. edge
the solenoid is the small one, so i presume is the one good for 1.3! yes. The 2.5 bar one is a black square unit with two raised sections on it.
trinitom
i got a picture, looks like the solenoid is for 1.3 bar. can any one confirm that! thanks..
Stuliet
I think this is is the 2.5 bar solenoid, at least I know this was setup for 1.4bar in my car so I assume this is the bigger solenoid. SBC is for sale if you are interested

DARETT
Spec S has the lower boots threshold solenoid, and the Spec R has the higher boost threshold. Personally prefer the Avc-r with the gear and RPM controlled boost, pretty easy to setup as well.
