DanGX Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 (edited) Hi guys, it's my monthly noob question.[OOPS][/OOPS] Right, I've got to change the tyres on the Soop next month and I can't seem to find the wheel locking key. Doh! I've got some sort of 18" Ace alloys (came with the car). Can I just saunter up to the local Toyota garage and get a new key that fits or do I need to contact Ace and order a new one. Also, will the rim have a product code/reference if I do need to order a new key via ACE? Thanks - I await in antisipation of your reply/replies. Be gentle! Chris Wilson Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 You can buy specialist sockets to remove locking wheel nuts for which you don't have a key, do a Google on locking wheel nut removal tools. I then contacted the manufacturer unfortunately i have no part code either but i sent them a pic so i'm hoping they might know from the pic.
