Well after doing plenty of searching and reading im just confused now.

I need to give my car some serious TLC and i just need a little help and advise on some fluids. Please could you suggest stuff that i will be able to buy from local stores and not any specialist racing stuff that ill have to wait on.....

Also can you please tell me how many litres of each fluid i will need as each thing will be completly bled clean and emptied.

1. First off Engine Oil - my car is a tt manual, BPU 35k miles and want some good stuff that is actually worth the money.

2. Brake Fluid - what DOT and which is the best company to get?

3. Diff oil??? Never changed this so havent a clue were to start

4. Gearbox Oil - in a search I read that the toyota stuff was the best as it doesnt eat the seals but apparently in a further thread it said its been discontinued so now what......

5. My radiator water is a brown rusty colour, i have deposits of junk under the rad cap. whats the best way to clean the entire rad out? get all that junk out? do those radiator flush bottles actually work?

6. any other fluids i have missed? Power steering fluid was changed 4 months ago so is it worth doing again?

Thank you fellas!

4= I serviced my TT a few weeks back and used the Toyota ATF TYPE T IV gearbox fluid, i've heard a few good things about it its a good replacement for the V160 its fine in my gearbox, nice and smooth gear change..
