no no no no no no no no no

will ruin your paintwork , imagine it picking up all sorts of grit , then spreading it all over the car, only one way to clean the alloys properly , non acidic cleaner is a must , and the rest is elbow grease and the right brushes to get to the whole width of the alloy not just the face

Never said anything about paintwork, I'm not that daft :D

WHEELS only

lol i know , just had a good look at your wheels , that brush wouldnt clean bugger all , unless you only wanted half a job sort of thing , good set of brushes for your style are ones by a company called VIKAN, ideal for small gaps like yours , the one i use for the inner part of the wheel is called EZ , but because they are not your average 5 spoke then cleaning them properly will take some time due to the many surfaces they have

Yes the bits between the spokes do need finer brushes and can only be done by hand. The intention of the rotary thing was to save time doing the face of the wheel and also the bits around the rim where the bolts are. It can get very fiddly round there.

ive used poorboys stuff in the past it is quite good and vey popular , but these days i use duragloss , its designed for clearcoat , ive had it on my wheels for a while now and performs well , so no need for different products when one can do both the car and the wheels.

as long as the wheels are laquered of course
