Squeaking on the front what could be only when the car is cold ?

Cold belt squeeking sounds normal. Just replace it :D

If you try this and it does not sort the problem, Check your crank pully, I've no idea what mine did, But it broke and made a sqeeking noise, Espesially if i turned the air con on, But when the car was warmed up its died right down :blink:

if your talkin bout the auxiliary belt your best off getting it replaced, and also check the crank shaft pully at the same time for wear, if this spins off at high speed it can wipe out half your engine bay as its bloody heavy!

 

Also As Keron suggested check the AC pump as these are known to Seize.
