So when doing a na-t conversion is it just the diff that needs replacing on the 6 speed?

Jake's right re the clutch..........the diff wouldn't necessarily need changing. Its tough enough to cope with the TT's power its just that it will limit your speed to 160mph ish and you'll go through the gears very quickly..........possibly ideal for the track, but maybe less fun for the road.

If you do end up going this way i'd just budget for a clutch to go with the TT conversion and then sometime down the line you could change the diff if you find you don't like the drive......

No.... currently looking for a suitable doner n/a (long story lol)

I'll be picking up a low mileage n/a to use as a run around / motorway mileage muncher for the next year or two until I am in a position to do the conversion (gives me time to set the car up properly with suspension, paint work, brakes upgrades etc - and I have no need for another TT just now).

Looking at either going TT or Single, not sure yet (either way it's going to have forged internals, not blowing up any more engines in my lifetime haha)

That's why I want to make sure I get my facts right before buying the right n/a for my needs and future plans! :)
