Hello all,

looking for some advice if anyone can spare the time.

Am going to get a Mkiv Supra in the next few months and am debating a couple of scenarios, namely:

1) Buy a twin turbo, enjoy and get used to the power. Then upgrade to a single turbo.

2) Buy a non-turbo, enjoy and get used to the power, with possibility to upgrade.

Before someone tells me that's stupid - can you take a non-turbo and graft on a single fat turbo? Or is the car simply not set up for 400bhp+?

Ie, should i buy the non-turbo at a reduced price and save money in the long run?

Cheers,

Confed.

Fitting a turbo to the NA engine is not worth the expense, you'd get around the same power as a BPU TT but for much more cost than it would be to just fit a TT engine.

Take your time to read the FAQ and Guides section, in particular http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=60 and the underlined BPU article.

Welcome.
