IIRC its illegal to sell a car that someone has died in.

really? strange. on what grounds? not questioning you, just wondering? i mean what if someone parks up, and has a heart attack at the wheel? nothing wrong with the car and nothing to do with it?

Yeah I remember Jezz mentioning this on another thread, bad taste thing I think.

Cars that have been crashed only I would presume:p

thats the only thing i can put it down too as well. but then that's an ethical decision rather than a legal one right?

I wonder what the position is then if a car has been involved in RTA and a pedestrian was killed rathar than the driver. There could be very little damage to the car in that instance. Does all this come about because the car is 'tainted' with death.

I can see a problem with the relatives seeing the car on the roads again but it is somewhat illogical to 'punish' the car.
