Ric
Didn't jamiep have these? on his old car?
JamieP
They are ok for the money, personally id go AP or Brembo.
adnanshah247
apparently UK spec brakes are similar in comparison, but brembo's is the way to go.....
michel lane
have you got any pointers regarding the ap and brembo jamie ?
JamieP
Ive had both and i would go with the brembos, have a look in my garage, they are amazing.
supra_aero
D2 brakes are the best looking calipers for the supra though imo.
JamieP
If you like pink, my Brembos are far more impressive looking imo.
Gaz Walker
If you like pink, my Brembos are far more impressive looking imo. Indeed
supra_aero
If you like pink, my Brembos are far more impressive looking imo. , its more a shade of purple isn't it (which is possibly worse thinking about it)? Anyway, both look good, but I prefer the D2
hiten55
, its more a shade of purple isn't it (which is possibly worse thinking about it)? Anyway, both look good, but I prefer the D2 so you'd go for the nancy boy brakes that dont operate as good as the beefy brembos? oooh how very
JohnnyW
Really needing to upgrade my brakes, got JSpecs at the moment. Been looking at the D2 option apparently they're pretty decent but the pads they come with are pretty poor and need ditched. This place has some good prices on them : http://aztecperformance.co.uk/GBd2racingbrakes.aspx Can get them in purple, black or orange. supra_aero
Sorry, maybe I was wowed over Neil's (formally big blue's car) which is why I reckon the d2 brakes look so good.
bigbloodyturbo
They did a test on ksport BBK's (as far as i know nearly the same as D2) in a jap car fluck a year or two ago and the results basially showed and improvement over stock allthough not amazing untill the 3rd or 4th stop when the BBK totally dominated the stock setup as it began to get to hot. That was on an S14A which afaik has quite reasonable brakes to begin with.
