Go through the inner wings. Drop the arch liner, and you'll see a big yellow grommet.

If you have an auto, you can take it through the grommet where the clutch pedal would be, but it means routing it all thr way around the engine bay.

If you're only using small cable, (8awg), you can get this through a grommet on the passenger side, and it comes out just above the ecu in the kickwell.

Personally, I'd use the grommet in the inner wing..

Matt,

How long would it take (i.e. how much would you charge) to run a power cable from battery to boot and signal cables from H/U to boot (including costs of cables) ?

I did it myself. It only took about half an hour.

Paul.

Labour-wise, about £25+vat, (1 hour including dash strip/rebuild), cost of the cable depends on how large, how many RCA's and what quality... 4awg, AGU fuseholder, and 2 sets of half decent RCA's, probably about £45-55???

Very reasonable... :)

I would do it myself, but I really cant be arsed! :) I also dont like the thought of taking the dash off... I have visions of it being in a pile on the floor of the flat for months!

thanks for the help,

it does not take long to run cable. I have finished the cables down on side for the rca and remote, the front of the dash to get to the head unit is reasonable as well. I was suprised.
