Rear Strut Brace on a TT

pull the carpet up and have a look at Mr T's stock bracing :eyebrows:, i did have a Cusco fitted really for aesthetics, i did not notice any difference, however when i removed it and fitted some substantial titanium bracing (pics in garage) i did notice an immediate difference round my favourite corner, i would have to say no they do not make any noticable difference but dont do any harm and look good :D

I've literally just fitted my Tein Performance Bars yesterday and not had the chance to trial them with some 'spirited' driving yet.

All this talk of "no real difference" is mildly concerning, though, given how much they cost. But hey... they look ace!

Im not planning on spending big money on one, just a cheapo ebay jobby as the feedback on this forum is that they do very little.

I've been pleased with the improvement the cusco front brace I recently bought has made though...

There's already a very substantial brace between the shock towers so some poorly designed bolt on "brace" is going to do bugger all, aero, or not. There's simply no need for one in a supra.

They are a popular mod on many cars, mostly FWD ones as there's a area in the back known as "the boot", which means no stock bracing between the towers, hence the hard push for sales of strut braces as a handling modification. The supra has no real boot due to the fuel tank and the stock brace.
