This is one really excellent days out - and I highly recommend everyone to attend and do a couple of laps

 

Who is the new moderator in this section and general organiser of events?

Up for this one, it's my "local" track.

 

Been around a couple of times, the first on a Classic day in my old GT6 (you won't remember them).

 

Was being very sensible until I saw an E Type in front of me, then a red mist came down and that was it !

 

I really didn't see them waving the black flag at me - honest !

(was young with hair then) !

 

Had a couple of goes in a Westfield (now 4 sale) and it's very good fun.

 

Not sure an auto TT is the best thing for the new bendy track though - "red mist" could be expensive !

 

Still good fun watching the other drivers "Not race" !!!

Saturday 22nd May 2004 Castle Coombe Circuit

 

SUPRA CAR PARK - First Come first Served Guys - Prob limited space so park carefully guys nose out etc

 

FROM CHIPPENHAM - Follow B4039 - Go past all the car parks and entrance to castle Coombe to your left

 

Turn left at the next turning and then left into the Supra car park

 

FROM BRISTOL - On the B4039 - turn Right before you get to the entrance to castle Coobe

 

Turn left into the Supra Car Park

 

Convoys - Check your track times (these start from 8.15 briefings I think)

 

Thurrock services @ 6am, convoy leaves at 6.30am

South Mimms services @ 7am, convoy to join with Thurrock, leaves at 7.15am

Chievely 7.00 am leaves at 7.30 am
