Rear Suspension Fixed and new brakes fitted

I finally got my suspension fixed this weekend follow a few months of problems. The passenger side rear side was knocking and handling was awful.

Got both rear shocks and springs swapped over and both upper rear susp arms put on.

I cant believe the difference in handling its made. I darent/cant find the limit of the handling on public roads as it just grips so much now.

I read this before in several threads, but the difference that new suspension makes is massive, and i would recommend it to anyone with a twitchy back end ( no pun intended). Its also improved traction off the line with the result being far less wheel spin.

In addition i also re-furbed a set of calipers, painted them, logoed them, put in new seals and had these installed also. Brakes do seem a bit spongy though with lots of pedal travel, the mechanic says that the pads need to bed in, and once they have, they will be fine, but ive no expert, is this correct ?
