Dozymare Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Hi folks. I've just moved to the Preston/Blackpool (Fylde?) area and I know there are a fair few Supras 'round these parts. Can anyone recommend a good place to get mine serviced? Bog standard NA import. I know there's an old post on this but wondered whether anyone had found anywhere closer than Wigan which isn't really on my way to work at Warton! Pixelfill Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Hi and Welcome to the NW - another newbie. As Rob says there are no trusted specialists in the immediate area. There is a Rally specialist just down the Freckleton Marshes, but no-one has really investigated them yet (I was going to get them to do my brake lines but tagged it onto some other work I was having done elsewhere) Ironically for routine bits and pieces / MOT you could probably use Townsends opposite BAE Warton, but for anything a bit out of the ordinary/special no-one local with decent feedback. Pixelfill Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 One thing to be aware of though is that Spark plugs on an NA can be a royal PITA. so if you want them changing it will probably involve a fairly large labour bill. I'd suggest taking your own fluids if you want them to do oil / coolant / brake fluid. just so you can be confident that they are using the right ones. I have used in the past Hyper Sports and also TDI North. Both are about an hour away at most but I have never had a problem with either.
