kylestt
The 3800 stall speed is close to what the car will foot brake up to before it starts pushing. Meaning, if you hold the brake pedal to the floor and give the car gas, the rpms will rise to about 3800rpms give or take before the car will no longer stay put and start moving forward. Folks use this rpm rated stall for drag racing that allows them to leave the line with a good amount of boost on a nice turbo. It wont "really" effect the hp goals over say like a 3200 stall. I had the boostlogic gear box and the PI 3800 stall in my personal supra. I still have it if your interested, i'm asking $2200 for both transmission and stall. L33
thanks, great explanation cuz i understand at the mo i think i have sourced the box and stally but thanks any way
kylestt
NP, glad i could help. Also i loved the BL/3800 stall setup. I had a 67dbb and it was a ball to drive. Automatic's fail mainly because of transmission fluid temps. Get the best and biggest cooler you can fit in the front. I had one in between my fmic and AC condensor. It was huge but did the job and i never had issues.

L33
what about a clutch? will my standard one hold 600bhp with this box? any recommendations?
wile e coyote
Lee you dont have a clutch with an auto
L33
o but surely the auto box has some sort of clutch to change gear but autoly not manually?
supra matt
Yes it has two clutches i think one for lock up and one for the gears . a stock stall will be no good if you wont to drag the car . L33
told u so so do i have to uprate them or do they come pre built into the boostlogic gear box?
wile e coyote
I should think they would be with the box but hay i did not think they had a clutch
supra matt
Yes mate there in the box and the toque converter has the lock one in it . . But i think a true 600 whp will be pushing the bl box to it's limit .
L33
thought the box could hold up to 700? and if whp mean wheel horse power, i was thinking more 600 fly to be honest any where near the 600 mark i will be more than happy with
