Right, the time has come to MOT the Supra.

I've had it about 2 months now and all seems well so really don't think it's going to fail.

However, the car has an aftermarket exhaust with a 3 inch pipe fromt to back with 2nd de-cat. The Cat on the manifold is still in place however:

1. Will this still adhere to MOT emmissions regulations and

2. Will it pass noise restrictions with this in place...it's quite loud!

It should go through the BET (Basic Emissions Test) with one cat, and the noise is pretty much down the to MOT testers disgression. There is a RFR (Reason for refusal) for "Vehicle much louder than a similar vehicle fitted with a standard silencer", but tbh, unless the tester's a PITA, it should go straight through.

My car passed the emissions test and everything else to boot with a 2nd decat and an HKS Super Drager exhaust, which sounds similar to how yours is set up. And that wasn't through a family friend or anything else. You should have no dramas.
