Carbon Fibre Dash

I'm thinking about playing around with some carbon fibre sheets, looking mainly at the dash panels. Has anyone ever had a play around with carbon fibre?

This is the website I've found for the sheets:

http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/Products/Wet-Lay-Carbon-Fibre-Sheet__CMFCS1MM.aspx

I'm trying to source a donor set of pre-facelift dash panels to try it out on, so if anyone would like to donate a set of knackered ones or has some to sell i'd be interested.:D

It will not work those sheets to not bend enough to be able to wrap dash panels

So how do people do it? I thought that they just used sheets of CF then resin on top, perhaps not that simple but isn't that the basic idea?

Thats if you are starting with raw materials.

Think most people go this route.
