ive done a search but didnt find the answer i wanted. im running 9*18's front and 10*18's rear. what is the best size tyres to use? for the front im pretty sure 245/40/18 is correct. what about 265/35/18 or 275/35/18 on the 10j?

I use 285x30x18 on 10 inch rears, and have had no rubbing all all (apart from one time with 5 people in the car going over big bumps in the road. I also have 245x35x18 at the front

The alternative is common, and thats 275x35 on the rears, although I hear more people getting rubbing with these sizes as you have slighly more side wall.

In the inside lane of motorways pretty bad tbh.. generally I find you will get a lot more feedback through the steering wheel though which is good, but I wont deny you'll get tramlining, its one of the downers about having wider wheels/tyres.

How do the ferraris and Lamborghinis avoid the tramlining with their wide wheels, I wonder?
