Chromed Turbo Pipes

Just about to purchase some chromed turbo pipes/ VAC. Is it a good idea to change these over or will it open a can of worms with regards reliabilty?

 

If it ant broke dont fix it

 

4 chromed turbo pipes.

1 polished AICV pipe with actuator.

Chromed Top Vac pipes.

Chromed turbo heat shield.

What is the norm pre-caution, get the pipes flow tested because I am also getting the Pletnum and Throttle body off John next Month

 

I wouldn't bother. The chances of a hole in one is highly unlikely unless there's obvious damage. You're far more likely to get a leak through a bad connection/split in one of the silicone or rubber hoses you'll connect them all up with.

still not 100% sure what you are looking to change or what you mean but ple plenum and TB wont need to be flow tested, im not sure you could even block them if you tried as they are both such large areas. Its usually only injectors that need such treatment.
