verry very annoyed still crash

just left my mates house and started driving down the road wen the car in front of me stoped to let a car past but the car couldnt get though so the car in front of me started reversing :taped: next thing bang right into my front bumper we had a talk shall we say! went to write my details next thing ya no he off down the road so im left with a cracked bumper and fook all to show for it !!!!

Did you get any of the number plate details?

If you did its worth telling the police if you got the make of car etc.

Gutted for you though.

Even more trouble for him. Phone the police asap as leaving the scene of an accident is a serious offence and will most probably be arrested.

Do it fast so as not to let him/her get the damage fixed.

i hope you get the bastrd had a bus scrape past my parked van a few years ago and he just carried on driving had to run after him down the road.

Thats bad, I hate people like that. I may be wrong but I'd be supprised if the police give a monkeys, same thing happened to my flatmates car and even though leaving the scene of an accident is supposed to be a serious offence they weren't going to do a thing. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

yer i went after him trouble is how do u get them to stop he started speeding in a averge speed zone and i dont want points! so let him go

If he's the kind of person that runs after an accident then

1. he probably doesn't have insurance (find out here: http://www.askmid.com/ )

2. he will probably claim that you ran into the back of him and try to claim any damage to his car from your insurance.

Don't know what you'll be able to do, unless you have any independent witnesses

na the car coming up drove off and that was the only car around my mate was in the pasenger seat but as my friend i take it that wont count for much!

No the witness needs to be a neutral party. Like you say though, either nothing will get sorted or worse he will say that you hit him, you can only try.

If he can be traced the guy is going to be in serious trouble when the police get hold of him.

If he was uninsured or can't be traced there is a department you can contact that will assist with incidents involving uninsured accidents (can't remember who, nor if it's applicable in your situation, but worth looking at)

That sucks......this has happened to me before and I completely understand the frustration and disgust.
