Hi,

Just wondering and would like to ask you guys especially those Supra's owner that changed the muffler for a screaming sound, can you guys passed MOT easily? Honestly I love mine Supra to have loud sound as well but need to know if it's legal or against the law of UK?

Thanx ;)

Thanx a lot, especially that link you gave is really help ;)

and I really love this sentence.

Noise is not very well covered in the regulations to be honest and its a bit of a grey area...

BUT

If you are not a 19 year old chav and being silly then I doubt you will get prosecuted...

my main concern isnt the loudnest of the exhaust but actully getting the car over the rollers for testing the brakes, iv yet to have an mot since i bought it and its one thing which is always sitting on the back of my mind

Do a decellarometer test on the road. Not the best way but it can be done. As for exhaust noise if it not blowing and it goes through the emissions, the MOT tester would be a w%ker or very jelious to fail on noise.;)
