BlackWatch66
A large convoy of jap performance metal and I are going to drive to the mighty 'ring in april of next year, via amsterdam, however whilst considering all the preparations and getting my supe mechanically ready (early I know), i realised that I still have the standard j-spec spare wheel (the mustard colour one), but i have uk spec brakes and 18" rota Gtrs on the car... Does anyone know if this standard jap biscuit wheel will fit with UK brakes? (ps. i really dont want to go out in the cold and faff around with the wheels:p)
nige
It does on the rears not sure about the front though,if u have to use it remember and remove the plastic wheel thing that comes with the alloys, I didn't and the wheel was wobbling all over the place lol. Dnk
I dont think they do so the easiest thing to do would be to borrow one, i'd lend you one of my uk o/e wheels but your a bit far away. Or get a uk space saver spare wheel
michael
Try it and see what happens, you might need to take some OEM nuts with you too
bodilx6
My guess is that it won't but hey its easy to test. On with some gloves and a jacket - do you have more info on the jap convoy to Da Ring? I'm thinking of going in the end of april myself and might be joined by a handful from the Danish supra club (which by the way are arranging a large European Supra meet in the end of July. More info later)
SpeedyAndy
wish i had the money to go, i would be there 110%, always wanted to go there but hopefully i will do one day next year!
tony tt
you could take an emergency 10mm spacer with you just so it clears the caliper if you cant get your hands on a uk space saver mate. i know spacers are frowned upon but it would only be a temporary solution.
