Stonkin Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 (edited) Hi, Can anyone recommend somewhere around the bracknell / reading area (or anywhere not hugely far) that i can take the car to to see if they can either weld the hole in the exhaust (super dragger) or perhaps make a new stainless section that can go from the end of the 2nd decat to the backbox? I guess im thinking somewhere like Powerflow, but have never used these people and i know some of them seem to be good and others not. I'm trying to avoid buying a new exhaust if this one can be repaired. Any help appreciated. But im hoping it can be welded up or just a new stainles section made to replace the mild steel part on the dragger. The hole is exactly where the hanger joins before the backbox. Stonkin Posted December 13, 2008 Author Share Posted December 13, 2008 just got back from Topgear Aylesbury. Guys there did a great job. They replaced the whole section in stainless from the end of second decat up to the backbox. This removed the 2 resonators, the car does sound slightly deeper but nothing hugely noticeable.
