Uprated Built autobox options

As it seems there is some interest in this subject , prehaps we should compile a list of various companies that offer this service and the sort of name they have in the states , also for converters as there seem to be so many that wont take the power of our cars !!!

John, as you know there are loads available. This is a bit of a black art and building a reliable uprated auto box seems to be limited to very few Suppliers. Knowing what Leon has been through with built boxes I would be very wary of buying one without a proven track record.

I know the Boost Logic & SP boxes are supposed to be the best and can handle around 700 bhp ish. The BL one is significantly cheaper than the SP one, but seems to be the absolute business. Kean has had this box in his car for over 25000 miles now and has 9 second 1/4 mile runs with it, and it has taken it all. Also, people have had massive problems with torque converters, that's why I told you to get the one you did.
