Better Fuel Consumption

Was quite surprised to find that after changing from my Nur spec R back to the standard exhaust that my fuel consumption now seems to be better by about 20-30 miles on average.

This has been consistent over the last 4 fill ups using the smae petrol:conf:

Also noticed that the car is a little less willing to kickdown (Auto) than when the Nur was on. Must be due to the lower back pressure?

Ok that makes sense, what about on the non turbo?

I would stilll think so but to a lesser extent. All of these parts are performance upgrades to an extent, you may not feel any quicker but you are supposedly extracting a few extra ponies, and them ponies need a drink:p

If the engine is taking air in quicker and pushing the gases out quicker you can get more through = worse consumption.

All IMO of course.:)
