I got my car back briefly for a trip to Leeds, then its back to the bodyshop to be finished, and to get a TT transplant, but my progress so far is this:

Started off blue, this photo makes it look much better than it is. removed the decals and that horrible chrome look as well as those horrible TRD racing strips across the windscreen and rear screen.

Got a base colour of gold first

Then a first layer of orange

Indicators are temporary I have replacements, this was just to get me to Leeds.

Fitted glass headlights, a TRD spoiler, veilside arches and a bomex (Do-luck?) front. I know it needs new wheels, that can come at the end of uni I think. Its got to go back to the bodyshop to get flattened and painted, and the TT swap when the engine bay is getting painted to match.

Way too fussy with too many lines doing too many things for my (boring) tastes but it looks like a decent job.

I liked it better in the "before" shot though :(

Love you too michael.

That blue was a really poor paint job and needed something done, I decided to go get it all done :)
