Going to be fitting cat-back, 1st decat & RR at the weekend...got a few questions.

1. First decat has a bracket welded on for some sort of sensor...best to fit this sensor or fit a plate here?

2. What kind of paste do you use to create a seal between exhaust/cat etc?

3. Is it a simple case of removing the 1st cat by 3 bolts and fitting the decat or is there any gaskets etc between the cat and manifold which have to be removed?

4. Exactly where do I fit RR...between 2nd decat & exhaust?

fit the sensor that comes off your 1st cat into your decat. You wont need a RR if you've still got the 2nd cat. For sealing them your going to change from rings to gaskets so go to a motor factors and try and match something yp, your 1st deact should have come with gaskets anyway.

yeah it come with all required gaskets

so should just be a straight swap over with the sensor from 1st cat to 1st decat>?

should be, i bought an o2 sensor gasket just incase. If i were you i would also buy a set of downpipe studs from mr.Toyota (think they're 10mm) before i'd start as if you snap one off your going to be right up the creek without a paddle as they say.

Got mine from Paul Whiffin, and a good idea too:)
